Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms describe how Always 305 coffee subscriptions work. They apply in addition to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund Policy.
1. The Short Version
- When you place a trial order, you are enrolling in a monthly subscription. The cart page discloses the recurring amount, the cadence, and the cancellation method directly above the Place Order button before you confirm.
- Today's $6.99 ships your first bag. About 10 days later, you are charged $18.98 for that bag and the monthly subscription begins. Each subsequent shipment is $18.98 every 28 days.
- You can pause, skip, swap blends, change frequency, or cancel any time, online, in 1 click, from your account. Cancellation takes effect immediately, with no fees and no contracts.
- We send a reminder email 3 days before every charge so there are no surprises.
- Same price every shipment. If we ever raise prices we tell you 30 days in advance.
2. Enrollment and Authorization
When you place an order from the cart that includes a subscription product, you are enrolling in a recurring monthly subscription. The product, the recurring price, the cadence, and the cancellation method are disclosed on the cart page directly above the Place Order button. Clicking Place Order is your affirmative consent to the recurring charges.
By placing your order, you authorize Always 305, LLC and our payment processor (PayPal) to automatically charge your payment method on file:
- The current price of the subscription product (currently $18.98 per 12 oz bag, subject to change with notice as described in Section 8).
- Applicable sales tax based on your shipping address.
- Flat shipping of $6.99 per shipment to any U.S. address (see our Shipping Policy).
Charges occur monthly, every 28 days from the date you opt in. Each shipment is a separate charge.
3. Pre-Shipment Reminder
Three (3) days before each scheduled charge, we send a reminder email to the address on file with:
- The date your card will be charged
- The blend and quantity that will ship
- The total amount including tax and any shipping
- A direct link to skip, pause, change, or cancel before the charge
This reminder is required by law in several states and is also our standard practice for every subscriber.
4. Pause, Skip, Swap, and Cancel
You can manage your subscription any time at https://always305.com/account. From your account you can:
- Skip the next shipment
- Pause indefinitely (until you reactivate)
- Swap blends between TRANQUILO, EL PUENTE, AZUCAR, and LA VENTANITA
- Change frequency (the default is monthly, every 28 days, with other cadences available from your account)
- Change quantity per shipment
- Update payment method or shipping address
- Cancel the subscription entirely
Cancel Anytime, Online, in 1 Click
Cancellation is a single click in your account, takes effect immediately, and involves no fees and no contracts. We do not require a phone call, a chat session, a survey, or a "save offer." We will not put you in a retention queue. We may invite you to provide feedback after you cancel, but providing feedback is optional.
If you prefer email, send a cancellation request to hello@always305.com from the email on your account and we will cancel within 1 business day.
5. Timing of Changes
Changes you make before your next scheduled charge take effect immediately. Changes you make after the charge has already been processed apply to the following shipment. If you cancel after the charge but before the package has shipped, contact hello@always305.com and we will cancel the shipment and refund you in full.
6. Failed Payments
If a payment fails (for example, an expired card or insufficient funds), we will:
- Notify you by email.
- Retry the charge up to 3 times over 7 days.
- Pause your subscription until the payment method is updated.
We will not ship a subscription order until the payment is successful.
7. Refunds
Subscription orders are covered by our 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not happy with a shipment for any reason, email hello@always305.com within 30 days of delivery and we will refund the full purchase price. You do not need to return the coffee.
If you cancel after a charge but before the package has shipped, we refund the full charge.
8. Price Changes
If we change subscription prices, we will notify subscribers by email at least 30 days before the new price takes effect. The new price will only apply to renewals processed after the notice period. You can cancel before the new price takes effect with no penalty.
9. Trial Offers and Subscription Promotions
Our standard new-customer trial charges $6.99 today, which ships your first bag. About 10 days later, you are charged $18.98 for the bag and your monthly subscription begins. Each subsequent shipment is $18.98 every 28 days, plus shipping where applicable, until you cancel.
The cart page discloses the recurring amount, the cadence, and the cancellation method directly above the Place Order button. Clicking Place Order is your affirmative consent to those terms.
These disclosures are presented at the cart page, in your order confirmation email, and again in the pre-shipment reminder email before each charge, in accordance with the FTC ROSCA, the FTC Negative Option Rule, the California Automatic Renewal Law, and similar state laws. You can cancel any time, online, in 1 click, with immediate effect.
10. ShipKeeper Shipping Protection
ShipKeeper is our sister product that handles lost, damaged, and porch-pirated shipments. When you opt into an Always 305 subscription, or when you place any paid order, you are enrolled in ShipKeeper protection so that your shipments are covered while you are an active customer.
ShipKeeper is free to you while you remain an Always 305 customer. After your relationship with Always 305 ends (you cancel your subscription or stop ordering), ShipKeeper applies its own 32-day grace period during which protection continues at no charge. After the 32-day grace period, if you have not opted out, ShipKeeper will bill you $9.99 per month directly to keep your protection active across other merchants. ShipKeeper handles its own billing and account management; you can cancel ShipKeeper at any time from the ShipKeeper customer portal.
11. Account Closure
Closing your Always 305 account automatically cancels any active subscription. Subscriptions canceled or paused are not deleted, so you can reactivate later from your account.
12. Compliance Highlights
These Subscription Terms are designed to comply with:
- The Federal Trade Commission's Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (ROSCA)
- The Federal Trade Commission's Negative Option Rule (the "Click-to-Cancel Rule")
- The California Automatic Renewal Law
- Similar automatic renewal statutes in New York, Oregon, Vermont, Washington, D.C., and other states
- The advertising policies of Meta, Google, TikTok, and other paid media platforms
